I bought a pound of D&R Two Timer when it was on sale. I have quite a variety of blends, though compared to the folks with expansive cellars, I barely have any. I have not made a dent in the Two Timer, and I can nurse along a tub for years. So if you are a moderate smoker, there's no telling.

1 pound = 453 grams

1 ounce = 28.3 grams

3 grams = 1 bowl

1 pound = 151 bowls

1 ounce = 28.3 bowls
1 pound = 453 grams

1 bowl = 3 grams

453 divided by 3 = 151
There you go. 1 pound could / should give you 151 bowls. But, of course you will need to honor the variance of the size of the bowl.

The state I’m currently stationed in is banning all online tobacco sales in the near future.

That's already come to pass here, as well as any mail-order, phone-order or driving to a neighboring state to purchase. Throw in a very sparse number of B&Ms in the state, and it's not fun. I think this sort of thing, a de facto ban on purchasing tobacco, is what we should be more worried about than the FDA's ministrations, however unfair they may be.

That's one of the main things I fear happening before I can get my cellar up to snuff, living in England I don't have the ominous Deeming Regulations to worry about but if they ban internet sales AND mail order as well I'll be up the proverbial creek without a paddle.

I am lucky enough to have a decent b&m about a 30 minute train ride away but health problems mean it is not easy to get out and about and living alone with no family for a 100+ miles doesn't help either.

I pray that I get at least another 3 years or so to finally finish off my cellar but with BREXIT looking like it might be coming to an end soon the do gooder politicians will have more time to spend meddling and coming up with ways to bugger everything up so I think I'll have to make even more of an effort to squirrel away what I can while I still can.

I'd guess about five months to smoke a pound. I smoke about a bowl a day, with some days off, and some weekends with a few more bowls. In rotation, a 16 oz. bag can take forever. But if you are smoking most of the day, or on and off all day, your mileage may vary ... a lot.
