How is Milan Tobaccos?

I am thinking of making an order for a bunch of Milan Tobaccos and wondered if any forum members have enjoyed their selections. They seem to have a wide variety and have gotten good reviews on Tobaccoreviews. Their prices are a little higher so I was wondering if they are worth it. I have eyed them over for quite some time but have never tried them. Thanks for the feedback.

never tried them but just from their descriptions it sounds like they are sourcing their leaf more intensely then the average pipe shop does for house blends. More like the other shops people recommend the house blends from.

I'm a big fan of Milan Tobacconists pipe tobaccos. I was in Roanoke in 2007 on business, stopped in their B&M store to check out their tobaccos, & have been buying them ever since. Quality tobaccos that burn well yielding tasty blends, great room notes, & minimal goop. For me worth every penny! YMMV!

I’ve been in there a couple times while traveling, and I have a ten stick travel humidor from them. While I can’t speak for their house pipe blends, I can say they are nice folks, and the shop is well stocked and immaculate. Great meer pipe selection, too. A good place to do business.

I don't normally smoke aromatics, but their Sunset Rum is something to write home about. Gee-whiz is that stuff delicious.
