Moro, what a wonderful way to enjoy yourself. The subsequent posts were excellent as well.
I, too, make sure I'm outside, listening to tunes and enjoying a frosty adult beverage...
We're fortunate to have a covered patio and during the warmer months, that is where you will find me, seated in that loveseat near the light. We take our meals out here as well, until about mid-September. The guy who put the roof on asked if I wanted cable for a television. Not a chance. A good set of outdoor speakers and power for my laptop and an ashtray for my matches, thats all I need.
Sit on my patio in the back yard. In winter I only smoke a couple of bowls once or twice a month at a friend's place who has a smoking room. Snow up to three feet deep covers my patio in the winter months. Summer is a treat - I can just walk out side and set up my lawn chair and enjoy a bowl or two. The new Off powered fan units for the belt really work and keep the mosquitoes at bay. Best of all worlds.
I can only smoke in the basement which is setup like a man cave so if I'm smoking my pipe I'm playing pool, darts, ping pong or poker. One of those. I also like to hike so I'll take my pipe with me.
Also on Friday nights I head on over my neighbors basement to play some FIFA 13 on the Xbox360, smoke some pipes and drink some Earl Grey.
Gotta love the man cave xD and video games with pipe smoking, something I desperately want to do but cant practically do Al, that is an awesome set up there! Serious envy over here about the Triumph too, getting my motorbike licence soon :D Hunter, it sounds great in the summer where you live, must be rather beautiful up your way! ::
The outside is wonderful -- when it's wonderful. But during the summer months here, I am especially glad for my den.
Here's a poor picture of my favorite corner of the room. There's a matching chair opposite, some footstools, a marble table /desk and leather office chair. My grandad's shotgun is on the wall along with some nifty tobacciana and photos of some places we've been. (Funny how chairs that were "old and ratty" in the family room are "classic and comfy" in the den.)
I smoke in my library. SWMBO does not like it, neither does my books. However, when writing or reading, pipe and coffee made on my La Pavoni, is a must. When weather is nice, I sit on my balcony watching my tomatos become ripe.
I have a lower level where my wife doesn't actually mind that I smoke. I smoke in the car often to and from work and when the weather is ok, sometimes I smoke outside taking a break at work.
I'm fortunate that my wife tolerates the smoking but is not really happy about it.
