Yes but what about mold on my roadkill? I was dry aging a partially flattened raccoon and noticed some fuzzy white stuff on the meat. Maybe it's fur but do you take a chance?

As mentioned elsewhere, I recently visited my independent pipe shop owner I've known and patronized for about 40 years. This regulatory crap impacts his job and retirement. I bought some bulk tobacco, PS Proper English, and some pipe cleaners, then went back to buy a pipe he had priced really well, and he wrapped the tax into the marked price, amounting to a discount. He wasn't belaboring or whining, but he definitely feels the pressure of not knowing, not having any clear directives. He knows he won't be able to do house blends, and a few other points, but most of it is up in the air. He's stoical, but it's a miserable spot to be in. I think it made that irresistible pipe even more irresistible. When he folds his shop, we won't see another independent pipe shop in town, I don't think. There's still a Tinder Box in the mall, but it's mostly cigars, and the mall is no smoking. I am extremely lucky to have had a good independent shop with a pipe emphasis for all these years. Maybe a few more.
