Weird. I don't notice an issue with the cold here in Florida. Sometimes my toes get chilly in my flip-flops.?
I used to live in Jacksonville. Moved to Washington state 2 years ago. Don’t miss the humidity mixed with the heat. I can say with confidence that summers in Florida’s humidity did have more condensation in my pipe if I didn’t dry the bacci out enough. Up here in Washington no bother. I do like how the smoke exhaled lingers longer in the winter giving a stronger clothes note the wife likes.

Temperature gradient=condensation. Steeper gradient=more condensation. You either need warmer ambient temp or colder fire. ?. Packing loosely and smoking in a breeze could theoretically help, but I doubt much. I don't smoke when it is less than 25 degrees.
