How Do You Determine Ashton, Escudo & Rattray’s Tin Dates??

Most later KK (Rattray's) tins have an alphabetic date code. 2020 is year T, if I remember correctly.

Incidentally, when did Ashton Artisan's Blend stop using Syrian Latakia? Got a few tins from a most generous individual that state "Syrian Latakia" on the label and there is definitely a difference between it and the newer stuff that only says "Latakia." Love the new stuff, but the older is something else again entirely - truly one of the best tobaccos I've ever had. I will savor them and opening the last tin will take a monumental effort.
