How do I 'copy & paste' my profile photo?

I have my photo Avatar? for my profile but cannot work out how to copy and paste it as my profile picture. I just hate seeing my name next to a blank person's outline.

Hi Ken,
It's simple to do.
1. Go to the PM home page.

2. Click on "My Account" and scroll down the pop up menu to "Profile" and scroll over to "Change Avatar" and select it.

3. Use the "Browse" function to select the image that you want to use for your avatar and then click "upload photo"

Thanks sablebrush52, however when i go through what you suggest and upload, it does not change i.e. my picture does not appear on my profile.My photo is recorded on my avatar profile but does not appear.I have even tried uploading a new different photo and going through the same process. I love challenges, whatever form they take!
