They were also the only place to buy pound boxes of it at one time.
I was unaware, thank you.

Anything else worth looking at? And do they still ship to the US? I thought I read they stopped earlier this year (or switched carriers) and you tend to have a finger on the pulse. It was fun to add things until I hit the next shipping price tier.

First, I'm in no way a Shill for TP. They are selling 4 packs 4 year old Capstan for less money than you can buy 4 tins of fresh. Aged is $71.28, 4 fresh tins are $71.80. Yes, the 4 pack is a variety pack of the 4 Capstan blends but they're all excellent. Given how often Capstan is praised here, I'm surprised these are still around.

i just did my part to remedy the situation. thank you for the heads up!

No way in hell am I paying more than $10/ounce for something as basic as Capstan, aged or no. Other than Harris, God rest his soul, I don't see a whole lot of clambering going on here about it.
Yeah, $17.81 per 50g tin didn't strike me as a deal either. Then again, I've already got plenty resting quietly in a dark closet that is older than 4 years...

Same. It's probably because I'm coming from the cigar world, but 3 years doesn't seem all that aged to me. Capstan blue is also a solid Virginia, but it doesn't blow my skirt up, either. For the price, I'll continue to stack Orlik Golden Sliced.

It's a deal for two reasons. 4 years of age will provide 75% of more of the benefits of aging. Second, it's relative to the price of fresh tins as of today. Relative to the price two years ago? Not much of a deal. Unfortunately, my time machine is out of service at this time.

If I could get 4 tins of blue flake I'd order 2 sets.

That's likely the opinion that leads to this "close out" deal. Just something about the yellow that doesn't hit the same for me. Honestly never even tried the ready rubbed - though I would if someone had an open tin.
