I enjoy Twining's Earl Grey with honey in the morning with a lighter smoke, like EMP. In the afternoon I go to Twining's English Afternoon Tea. I am starting to watch my sugars and have sometimes replaced honey with agave nectar. It is a thinner sweetener that gets incorporated quickly in the tea. I like this with many tobaccos such as McC Black Shag, Escudo, and McC St James Woods.
Although I must say brewing a strong pot at home (thinking La Colombe here)goes with any tobacco. I just love strong coffee, but will defer to Pruss on all matters dealing with the caffeinated cup.

I like to drink Darjeeling with my a pipe. I have noticed the dryness from Earl Grey and First Assam.etc. but Darjeeling I find more refreashing.

Are any of you familiar with Lapsang Souchong? I didn't know what it was when I first had it. I figured someone must've brewed up a pot of Balkan Sasieni! It's quite good on its own. I have yet to try it paired with a pipe.

Thanks for the shoutout, mrlowercase :worship:

Don't get me started on teas; with the cooler weather coming in I've been revisiting my matcha and sencha collection, along with some competition-grade teas I discovered tucked away in a box. Thank goodness tea has a longer shelf life than my memory. I mention several in an upcoming review of Mac Baren Mixture-Scottish Blend, along with some other beverage pairings as well. Stay tuned and keep steeping!

Lapsang Souchong goes well with straight Virginias. Someone on the forum here recommended it, and I found it to be a good combo with my 5100 Red Cake. I like Earl Grey, but haven't found anything that compliments it.
