Mahogany and Teak in places. You can see why I don't have much room for a tobacco stash. I think I may try to adapt a pipe stand to attach to the wall and that will hold the pipes in place.

Beautiful boat Philip! Where do you sail to during the summer/what are your favorite destinations?

I spent last summer drifting around the San Juan's. I haven't decided about next summer yet. I may stick close to home or I may go farther north to visit the country that brought us Brigham Pipes and MacQueen Pipes.

Is there room for a motorcycle in there? If so, I believe I just found my retirement home. (Not Yours, I'll get my own. Unless you need a roomie, that is. P.S. I can cook )

This brings back some fantastic memories Philip. The thing that saddens me is that about a year ago, I gave away my uncles Pipe Rack which was custom built for him. It held 6 Pipes and was on gimbals. He kept the pipes he smoked most regularly on the rack and the others were in traditional cases that can be stuffed anywhere to keep them out of harms way. I'll see whether I still have a photo of it mounted and if so will pop it up here for your inspection. It was a very simple design, but worked beautifully.

Summers are great. Right now the decks are covered with several inches of snowy slush.
Sometimes I smoke in the car.

I spent today getting my anchor chain back from the company that re-galvanizes steel.

200 feet of 5/16" chain weighs over 200 pounds! She's a demanding task master.
