Holy Grail Shape Acquired.......

..........sort of. I love GBD Rhodesians, the 9438 and unobtainable 9242. I have a number of 9438 variants but the 9242 almost never pops up and when it does, even poor shape pipes for $200 or so. Last night I won a Digby 9242 that caught my eye. A poor mans 9242! The grain sure looks too nice to be a Digby and the price was right. The seller was jaboma, who posts here occasionally. He's nearby in PA, so hopefully it will be here by end of the week. There are the Ebay pix (excellent pix!). I'm definitely anxious to see it in person.

If you really like that shape you should look into the Sav 320. It looks almost exactly the same. Just not sure how they relate size wise. The Sav 320 is pretty big. It is my favorite shape.
