Holy Grail: Custom-bilt Smooth

I have been looking for one of these for a while. A custombilt smooth. For a manufacturer that was known for its rustication this was a true rarity. It has the Mincer era Custom-Bilt logo. There are two stems with the insert-able vulcanite stinger. Many of these stingers got thrown away. One of the stems is straight so perhaps it is an extra that can be bent if needed. I got it for 54.00 bucks to make it even nicer. It was a gamble with only 3 pictures but did win.

Thanks for the link to your post ,congratulations on a mind blowing find and in beautiful shape. I've been keeping an eye out for just such a pipe, yours is the second I've seen but your example is in far better condition. Originally I thought it was a myth but they are floating around out there.

The only other one I have seen is in Bill Unger's book. I know others have seen them kicking around ebay, but this was the first I have seen.
