I love Christmas tobaccos & every year pick up a few to savor.
This year it's Peretti Yuletide, Straus Tobacco Wenceslas, plus Cordial Friends & Figgy Pudding from The Country Squire.
They're all terrific, but special mention goes to the Country Squire blends. They're both really flavorful yet much more subtle & just so darn pleasant.

I totally agree. The Country Squire aromatics are the best I have ever had by a country mile.

I finished a tin of 2015 Christmas Cheer yesterday and am still working on a tin of 2020 Cringle Flake. Both have been excellent. I have noticed that Cringle tastes too bright in a meerschaum so I’ve been smoking it in briar pipes.

I like to buy holiday blends. I want to believe they will match the season well. I've only tried a couple from C&D: Corn Cob Pipe and Golden Days of Yore. I did like Corn Cob Pipe last year, but I like much more Golden Days of Yore. Anybody had it? I feel like the nic is pretty decent too. What blends are you having this season?

I, too, like to dive head-first into an aromatic bender during the holidays, usually because I'm around family who don't smoke and the smells are more tolerable. Like Embers already mentioned, McC's Holiday Spirit is a great comp for Golden Days of Yore - different proportions, so the balance in taste is noticeably different but they are similar blends.

I also make this homemade blend with H&H Va/Per and Solani Chocolate Burley base and flavored with C&D aromatics to get that hot chocolate/burnt marshmallow flavor.

About 1100 miles away. Do they have a good holiday blend?
Tennessee Dave thinks they do.
Sorry, that was about the Country Squire, not the Briary.
Only Holiday blends I know are no longer available.

You can put your location in your Profile—(please!—because people will forget!) That will save questions in the future as to where you live when you later mention local stores, weather, tobacco prices, availability, regulations, location of photos, wildfires, air quality, etc., etc..
Under your avatar, (top right, left most of three symbols) you choose "Account Details", which brings up "My Account". "My Location" is halfway down. Whatever you're comfortable with- town, city, county, state. Just country if you must.

I really like GDOY. The topping is very judiciously applied, and there’s a lot going on with the different tobaccos in the blend. I was expecting a more straightforward aromatic like Corn Cob Pipe and a Button Nose, but it’s not like that at all. It’s more of a crossover aromatic, not nearly as sweet, with plenty of complexity. A nice surprise.

When I want a more traditional aromatic, I’ve recently been smoking CCPAABN, Russ’ Snickerdoodle (it’s got a great chocolate note), and Paul’s Pipe Shop Arrowhead

I have about 16 I think tins left of McClelland Holiday Spirit that I always have for Christmas time. There's a bout 10 tins left of C&Ds Golden Days of Yore.

As for winter time blends I have 8 more tins of Mac Baren's Burley London Blend left. I also usually get through about 2-4oz of Newminster 403 Round Slices in winter. I have probably 12 tins of HH Burley Belnd from Mac Baren. WInter time is when I transition to Burley blends.

McClelland Holiday Spirit is really good but I have only one tin and rationing has been employed. Several of my favorite blends are available in bulk. The box of empty tins is getting out of control in the bottom of my closet. My big problem is that I like to smoke aromatic holiday blends all year round.
