Hmmm, don't like this but why?

There are blends that I used to like (and cellared pretty heavy in the past) - - that I don’t like now.

Why ?

I have No idea why. One of the mysteries of pipesmoking

I go through phases where I get repulsed by the idea of this or that blend. The very idea of latakia will make me sick, or Perique just turns me off, or a casing... but then as seasons change or my tastes come back around I will crave this or that again. It happens. Maybe it's an astrological thing, ha ha.

Things change over time, including tastes. It can just take that one note to put someone off something. I wouldn't say I like Orilk GS fresh, but it's perfect after a year or more. My favorite blend is unsmokable to me until after three years of aging. Go figure!
