1) Design considerations. The claw / ball are beautiful, but it looks like something fragile. So a basic ball / globe
2) Where to buy? EBAY has a lot of "stuff" but how can you know the intentions of the seller. Found something I like, but did not recognize the brand. OPTION 2, go to well known and respected B/M dealer and spend a little more for a recognized brand.
3) Result. SmokingPipes, dealt with for a long time and a brand I know. AKB Meerschaum, in a highly figured ball. Website photo, when my purchase come in, I'll take detailed photos.
