Well, since my Florida gators haven't really been relevant since the Tebow years, I still check in on my old high school team from time to time. They're 2-6 on the season. So yeah, not a lot going on for me this year.

Eh. I played baseball in high school. But in the near 30 years since I've left, the school system has changed. Catonsville High is no longer the baseball powerhouse it was. And our rivals from my day suck as bad as we do now.

Here in Louisville, Ky the big football rivalries are St. Xavier (my Alma mater) and Trinity on the private side, and Male HS vs Manual HS on the public side.
All four play each other annually too. As those four have the longest and most successful histories in the city, they're all fairly big rivals.

My city growing up developed two semi decent football programs. However, a third high school opened just after I graduated and kids got to choose their school.

Apparently, the jocks from both sides of the city attempted to create a powerhouse program at the new school. While somewhat successful the first year, not all the good players could make it to the third school, resulting in 3 semi average teams.

However, my alma mater has been at or near the top of the cheer leading mountain in the state for 40 years.

I was a high functioning HS Foosball player, and follow my school on Saturday mornings. Thay are doing decent. After 30 yrs, I more or less root for my last kids in high school in the highest class. He is a basketball player for them so I have a few more weeks to go.

In Nebraska, it's about our struggling Huskers. Working on a come up.
