Just wanted to say hi since I'm new to this website. My name is Joanna and I just started smoking pipes about 2 months ago. I have 4 briar pipes and about 20 different types/brands of tobacco. Still trying to figure out what I like and don't like. I smoke a couple times a day, everyday to relax and get zen. I look forward to learning more from this site and y'all!

I think at two months in I had two pipes a corncob I didn't like and a bent briar that punched above it price point oxblood rusticated. Though I also had cigars and rolling tobacco and chew and regular cigs. Pipes where more of an occasional thing and back then I'd buy an ounce of tobacco for a buck and when it was gone buy another that sounded nice.

Yeah, I tend to jump in with both feet, arms, and whole body most of the time lol. I didn't know what I would like so I first went to the local smoke shop and bought 5 bulk and packaged tobacco. Then I went on pipesandcigars.com and they constantly have sales so 2 different times I bought 10 each. 2oz each of bulk, and tins. Already had a family heirloom pipe and one from a family member who never used it. Then came 3 more pipes from pipesandcigars.com hahaha. I have an addictive personality and like choices. None of my pipes are over $100 yet though. But Christmas is rt around the corner ?? I've been writing down what I like on a zero to 10 scale. Variety is the spice of life rt?!?
I even just made soap using a tobacco and bay leaf fragrance. I will post pics of it once it's cut ?

oh there is a point by the way where two to three hundred doesn't seem pricey for a pipe when you consider that by the time you're done with it that price equals less then a cent a smoke.
