Fave pipes include Altinok Meer, Dunhills and Savinellis. I tend toward Balkans but really enjoy everything except heavy aromatics (friends don't let friends Borkum Riff). Welcome aboard from central North Carolina. My grandparents used to own a little sandy soil farm for summering over in western Michigan near Muskegon, a tiny crossroads named Holton. No power or running water, in the pioneering spirit. The family finally sold it for a Christmas tree farm, but not before I got to camp there and bathe in that bone-chilling "crick." The house was still there, but not weathered in, and was later burned down by arsons, as too often happens. Kindly folks ran diary farms in the area, and a widow invited us down for pie and milk, and drew our attention to the call of the Chuck Will's Widow (a bird) in her field.
