Hello,

New here after already posting about a skin mishap during a smoke session, terrible coincidence or reaction? I guess I'll find out after I smoke it again at my own expense...

I got into this hobby after I started growing tobacco for what amounts to no reason whatsoever. Not even sure why I bought the seeds. But now I've got at least 6 different heirloom varieties including wild Native American tobacco, Native Mexican tobacco, some Cuban leaf tobacco, among others basics. I am a bit of a new-age hippy (unfortunately for everyone). Ideally I would be sticking with organic tobaccos but that's just not on the agenda it seems, I will take one for the team.

I started off with a Vauen bent brandy, and now I have two pipes on the way (as I didn't know I have to let my main pipe dry out...) which I got recently during the St. Patrick's Day sale that come with a free tin. Peterson Dublin fishtail, and a Sherlock Holmes p-lip. The Sherlock is not filtered and my only non-filtered so far. Been smoking anything I can get my hands on, a lot of C&D after a recent sale.

I really enjoy it so far, it's the perfect mild dichotomy to drinking homebrew, which unfortunately I can't do as soon as I wake up. Yes I know, I am not dedicated enough...

Regards

Welcome from the New Jersey Shore.

Which C&D Blends have you found to your liking?
Besides getting used to the smell of smoking rubber/tire/campfire/leather, I enjoyed Epiphany quite a bit, it is extremely smooth. Compared to Va/Per blends I find these new blends to have nonexistent tongue bite no matter how hard I try (within reason). Morley's Best I felt was similar, nonexistent tongue bite and a very cool, pleasant smoke.

I still have yet to smoke Red Odessa, maybe today, or Exclusive, since at 50% perique I have to be ready to not move for a few hours...
