Welcome! I, too, am in central Ohio. My Mom was from Toronto and that side of the family spread to Martin’s Ferry, Mingo Junction, etc. Dad’s side is from the Youngstown area, which is where I was born before moving to the Columbus area. Mom’s family all worked at Weirton Steel. Dad’s at Wheeling Pitt.

Wow, the world gets small sometimes. My grandad retired from Wheeling Pittsburgh steel after falling off a blast furnace at Weirton steel and they didn't hold his job after he broke his neck and was in a halo . I'm not sure if those houses are still around in Toronto. The blast furnace have been torn down...even the one that was in The Deer Hunter movie in downtown Mingo Junction
