hi all! My name is Thom. Relatively new piper here. Jumping in with both feet. Started with MM Cobs to smoke while fly fishing. Once a family member found out I started he gave me his little collection of briars. Looking forward to learning about them.

Welcome Thom! I think it's smart to start with cobs...if you have a freak casting accident and lose one in the river, no one will ever need to know, LOL

Haha! Fact. They’re waaaay lighter than the briars. They also helped me learn how to pack and light ‘em. I have a few cobs with burnt rims.
