As a sidenote my critique were I still in art school would be that the top might be awfully heavy with the lid and round disc on top? I think you could accomplish the same idea by putting indents (like the edge of a pie crust) around the outer rim of the tobacco jar for the stems. If that makes sense? Again not picking on your design just another idea brewing in my mind. This concept is great though. If you made one like I described I would actually buy one. ??
Is the tobacco jar glazed inside?

Your rack is fine as is, ST. No enhancements needed.

Is that a glass humidor in the center?

As flattering as that is ;) I'm running out of room for newly acquired pipes.

Yes, it is a (mid-century?) glass humidor in the center. The seal is off at the moment but a repair is in the works.

Yeah, it needs more pipes.

Although I'd love to feed my PAD- I've been culling my collection of factory pipes in favor of artisan makes. I'm at the point in my pipe smoking 'career' that I'd rather have a weekly rotation of nice handmades than 20+ factory makes that don't get smoked.

Still, a bigger pipe rack is definitely in my future as this one is above capacity.

How do you store your pipes, Olkofri?
