Well, there is this propensity amongst Asians to see all furry wildlife as cute snugums just waiting around to have you do a selfie with them.

Non-sequitor: I am convinced that your average house kitty could easily kill you, if they wished to do so.

In my experience people are more successful with multiple shots on a charging animal than one or two accurate shots.

Depends on the power of that one accurate shot.

I never go anywhere near bear or moose country without a 2 gauge punt gun filled with a double load of 0000 buckshot, for example, and had to dissuade a big Brownie from having me for lunch once with it. Worked reeel good.

You're just a treasure trove of info Sig. I had no idea a moose was that dangerous. How big do they get? I knew hitting them in a car was a bad idea but for them to attack a human blows my mind. But then, we don't see many here in OhioThanks for the info. Changes my whole perception of Bullwinkle!

A big bull moose can be 8 1/2 feet tall at the shoulder and 1800 pounds.
They are actually considered "bigger" than the coastal brown bear due to their mass. An 1800 pound bear is a rare sight. And Moose are very, very protective of their young, and themselves.
