What you don't want to do is end up puffing on burning plastic. You don't want those fumes in your mouth or lungs. China is pretty well beyond the reach of any kind of consumer action, legal or otherwise, so they have no restraints on using toxic materials in pipes and other products. I'd just write this off as a mistake and buy a Missouri Meerschaum cob, or several, and/or an inexpensive briar like a Dr. Grabow. I recommend spending a few more dollars and getting a Royalton. Welcome aboard.

I'm quite convinced that the only reason for Chinese exports is to murder everyone living outside the People's Republic. I believe the fact that we are willing to pay for the privilege came as a comical (and profitable) shock to the Party bigwigs.

Today i tested it out after cleaning it with vodka, it did not smell of plastic from the inside so while walking to the store i smoked it for around 10 minutes it was not too bad the bowl is made out of wood and only coated with that weird plastic material. It did not get too hot everything went fairly smooth felt no flavor of any kind of plastic but that might have been cause of the strong flavor filled tobacco lol.

So yeah the only problem with it seems to be questionable stem

Not sure if i should just order Missouri or get something i really like that is a bit more pricey ?
btw any advice on where to buy pipes preferably Europe for cheaper shipping ?

Wait...

and then...

No, no, no, the bowl being coated in plastic sounds like a lot bigger issues than the stem, of which I am not sure why you would have a problem with the stem, as the heat should never reach the stem in a way that would matter. Your burning plastic sounds like it is coming from the plastic coated bowl. Blech!! I would toss it and buy a bucket pipe somewhere.

Sorry, no idea where in Sweden you might turn, but perhaps a new thread with a subject that includes your whereabouts and what you'd like help on would work for you.
Why not get a couple of MM pipes AND a nice briar....?

they don't sell mm pipes here and i was too lazy to wait for it, usually has to be shipped from usa + i don't know any trustworthy websites to buy pipes on so i just bought what was available in one of the local shops
Perhaps it's opium residue [:)]
opium jokes crack me up xD

I'm sorry i was not clear i think its coated with plastic but its different from stem, it does not stink or anything

while i was smoking the pipe was really cool and it did not smell of plastic at all.
There never was any burning plastic then i bought the pipe i tested it and noticed that the stem had a weird stinky smell i washed it with vodka and now its better but still there

Alot of people have mentioned there's a buffing compound they use on stems that make them stink. Several people who have had pipes restored have mentioned this. It could be that is what you're smelling.

Death0 why don't you try a tobacconist from the UK.

http://www.gqtobaccos.com

Is really good for tobacco and pipes. They sell cobs as well, if that floats your boat. In addition, have a look at the Parker range. On average they're around £25. They're dunhill failings/seconds as well as producing independent lines.

They also stock a wide range of tobacco. glynn's tobaccos, the gq tobaccos are absolutely amazing as well. I wake up thinking about soft scotch.

I only have one tobacco so i will definitely pick up something else online as the local shops have only -3-4 different flavors

As for pipes i already spent 25 usd on pure Chinese crap so £25 shouldn't be a problem but so far im mostly attracted by bulldog, poker style pipes
