Can someone please tell me what they think this says? I have an idea, but I want to be sure.

Boswell is what I am thinking as well, but just not sure. I found it for dirt cheap and am thinking of pulling the trigger on it. I think it is cheap enough to risk it.

It is a Boswell. According to his website, he began adding the year of production in the mid 1980s, so my guess would be that it's at least that old.

Prices are always so hard. If I wanted that particular pipe, $50 would be the limit.
But I'm cheap. Or maybe I'm just easily amused with cleaning up $20 pipes.

It looks like a Boswell. It's strange though because Boswell pipes usually have the year the pipe was made engraved in the bottom as well. Maybe it's an earlier version or one that wasn't meant to go out into the public?
