Good evening, I am keen on finding a treasure, but what confuses me is that I don’t know whether it is a treasure or just a strange pipe. Does anyone know anything about it?

I'm pretty sure that's a Road Town. Chinese company with, imo, decent pipes at decent prices.
But as a Chinese company, I don't think they would choose such a logo, because generally speaking, anchors are not an element that China would choose.

I need to explain that I am Chinese.

I think you are right and it is my judgment that is wrong. Thank you.

Interesting, I thought Chinese pipes were all either sketchy Amazon stuff or super high end artisan stuff.

I'm not but I've never seen anchor symbolism used in China, probably in part because traditional Chinese anchors were big stones.

So the symbols on the pipe are possibly related to the fact that some of their early pipes were purportedly of "Canadian Design"....the veracity of that is somewhat sus.

I don't even know what that would mean. The Canadian shape or the Brigham style maybe? I haven't seen too many Brighams so I'm not sure if they're particularly recognizable

Supposedly, they had a pipe maker from Canada designing the pipes. At least that was what was said in the early days of the company.

Road town has some cool pipes at really reasonable prices. I've owned 2 that were no more than 50$ new and if they were made further west they'd have sold for 3 times as much. Decent smokers after I adjusted the internals

I think they are primarily trying to break into the world market. If my understanding is correct the current pipe culture in most of china is either super traditional or prefer something semi traditional i.e. from another country. Again that's hearsay but Roadtown seems to want to establish themselves as a solid mid level brand. Heard mostly good about them.

I am very happy to hear that you recognize our country's products. In my opinion, our products are like what the friend above said. Of course, we have very good craftsmen to complete the production, and there are also some mid- and low-end brands. Thank you for your help.
