Sasieni made an excellent pipe (Comparable to Dunhills or maybe even better)
The going value of a Sasieni Four Dot (Word) is between 100$ - 250$ on eBay. The value is dependent on condition and how desirable to collectors.
Sasieni 4 Dot (Number 4) are also good smokers, but not very desirable to collectors. I have seen New examples being sold at 100$. Estate examples are often sold at 30$ on eBay
Also, some members pointed out in a thread earlier - since these are collectible, they are often faked (Replacement stem, etc...)
4 Dots (Post Transition) and Four Dots (Pre Transition) are different
I buy Sasieni, but I would closely inspect the pipe, nomenclature and price the seller is asking for (Also do some Sasieni reading at Pipedia) before making a purchase.

This style of rustication is very unique to Sasieni. Smoking Pipes have fantastic reputation. I would say this is a good pipe! If it really speaks to you, go for it.
I was looking at that very pipe as well, it's looks sweet. Check those site they have two of them, one has a nice finished rim and the other is more rustic ( the one you posted .)

Done! Pulled the trigger on the Sasieni. Feels weird buying an expensive USED pipe.
