LOL, the flat caps are cool. Mine is packed and won't be seen for a while... maybe I will use my felt hat. Hmmm...
Yeah it's a Kangol ha. Used to have a few of them but this is the last remaining. I knew it'd come in handy for something.
I don't know how some of you manage to wear white and keep it white.
My wife now knows to never get me a shirt that's not "coffee colored" or darker.... :roll:
I grew up in Baltimore, when, in the early years of rap music, the group UTFO was popular (Roxanne, Roxanne, etc.)
One of the MC's was the Kangol Kid. They each had a "persona", even the DJ, Mixmaster Ice, in his ninja outfit...
Quite dated, but hearkens back to an era in hip hop where a gangsta persona and f-bombs were not required.
Here's a rare live recording. RIP to EMD, who passed last month at age 54:

I am a day late and a dollar short, but.. Also I realize the man has the art of the pipe smoking selfie down, it's not easy to get a good smokey shot. Cheers fishnbanjo! Keeping it smokey with deluxe navy rolls in my Celius fantasy pipe.
As always, I'm late to the party. But here I am with my Jayne hat, (Firefly) keeping it smokey with some Cuban Mixture in an old BBB. Not the best tribute to banjo, but... tequila. :crazy:
Well, I couldn't resist. A newbie smoker, with a new pipe and new tobacco... and my first Meerschaum smoke to boot.
I live in the high desert of northern Nevada and we are just north of a 250,000 acre wild fire. So, outdoor burning is prohibited. LOL, indoor burning is also prohibited here.
This is my new Bent Falcon with the Meerschaum bowl. "Kept smokey with Orlik Golden Sliced" as per the master.
And just to make the picture cooler, because of the fire danger, here's one with my 'cool' hat. Tradition, you know...
Oh, I am the one on the right in both pics. And, good news, my lady likes the Golden Sliced aroma so much she said she could 'almost tolerate' it in the house!
