Hi everyone I hoping someone might be able to help with some info on this pipe I found at a antique shop in Palermo. It has a Savinelli marking on the base of the shank where it meets the mouthpiece.

The right side of the pipe has "Franco Peloso" written out, the bottom has the Savinelli logo and "ITALY" and the bottom of the bowl has a logo that looks like two over lapping triangles. Photos below show what I'm talking about. In searching the web I cannot find anything on Franco Peloso. Any info would be much appreciated.

Hello,
I'm from Palermo.
Franco Peloso had a pipe shop from maybe 1965 till he's dead. Like others pipe shops, he sold economic Savinelli's pipes for beginners with little defects or grouting in the briar, or black points, but they still smokes well.
I still have one that I had the mouthpiece replaced.
If you need more information, do not esitate to ask.
Bye
Daniele
