I enjoyed the occasional cigar and pipe. It's been a while, but I decided to dig out the old pipes I had. I know one is a Dr. Grabow "collector 2003", another says "Montini" on it, another says "Clipper" with made in Spain under it. The first pipe I ever smoked doesn't have a name on it but the stem says "Italy". Thanks in advance for your help. I am trying to add pictures, but don't see how.

I know one is a Dr. Grabow "collector 2003", another says "Montini" on it, another says "Clipper" with made in Spain under it - it has aN oval bowl with 318 written under the stem and a "c" on the stem I bought it on eBay and it came in a Butz-Choquin box (but I don't thonk it's one). The first pipe I ever smoked doesn't have a name on it but the stem says "Italy". Thanks in advance for your help. Pics are in my profile album.

"Are they decent pipes?"
Surely only you can answer that as you smoke them.
I wonder if the 'Clipper' pipe has anything to do with the lighter company bearing the same name. I do recall 'Clipper' lighters originating in Spain.
Regards,
Jay.

I actually haven't smoked these yet. I was just curious how they compared to other brands. And I was wondering the same thing in regards to clipper.

They look like nice pipes. I'm not familiar with the Spanish make but Mastro de Paja makes a fine pipe. Smoke them and let us know what you think.

Hello team. Have y'all seen that picture of the most in interesting man in the world smoking a pipe with the hawk on his head. What pipe is that ? I just love the dark finish on that pipe. Any info would be delightful thanks.

I can't make out any stem logos, and nothing about the design of the pipe is distinctive enough to ring any bells for me. Some other members may well notice something that I have not, though. One thing I did notice: unless my eyes are playing tricks on me, that stem-to-shank junction looks pretty rough!

For those adverse to scrolling! :)
Once your photos are on a photo hosting site (such as Imgur.com; Photobucket; Dropbox, etc.), select the full image, then Control-click (Mac) or Right-click (Windows) and choose copy image location. Now paste that URL (the full web address) into the box that pops up under IMG in the compose reply window of the thread in which you want the photo to show.

It may be that it's just not inserted far enough. (The stem into the shank, that is. For those adverse to scrolling! :)

See below for how to.

I suppose that's possible, but knowing how OCD most pipers are about their pipes, I'd think it would bug the shit out of him. Sure would me.
