Hello,
Recently come across this pipe and was hoping some of you kind members could educate me about it. The shape I’m guessing is a lumberman, regardless of the panel, it’s oval shaped and saddle stem. Beyond that the maker is not familiar to me, and the stain is also strange to me. Any help identifying the maker would be great. And information about this type of stain if possible, it does seem to have reached the inside of the pipe and I’m unsure about the smoking quality. Additionally the drilling is way off center which is also weird.
Double stamped special pipe so I’m guessing it’s nothing special. 9EB1F2AE-DCFF-40B0-815B-39C0B3D05AD0.jpeg65B65FEC-0E1A-406D-B633-8A2C1C1AC6B6.jpegD31C2095-A2D6-4678-88CF-B963C56A9327.jpegF53FD384-B314-4C64-B9C3-A1CCC7407BDB.jpeg504F7294-0B89-40E1-B166-50E009CBDC5A.jpegC57DD461-B822-4F58-970E-97690ADE5EF3.jpeg

Greg Peevey pipes had a red dot and a circled A.
Can't make out what your pipe says between the Specials.

...but that wild stinger gimmick screams 40s-60s fly by night catalog offering.
