Help Identify Two Peterson Pipes

Hello!

I bought a bunch of old pipes online that in intending to restore.

Two of them is Petersons pipes that i doubt is the real, i cant find anything about them online and they feel very light for their size.

Does pipes with fake stamps and branding even exist?

Any ideas in these pipes?

Nope they are real.. just light because they are so old and dry.
What's the marking on the other one?

No marking on the other one, except the " peterson of dublin, london made england"

they look right to me. I'd guess pre-1940 based on the type of "p" used in the Peterson. I believe they stopped using the London production in about 1960.

Peterson stamping is problematic at best. In the hundred plus years, there was lots of overlap and inconsistent stamping. I would guess that all three words (London, Made, England) were three separate stamps. Made In London England was used. Just guessing, that maybe the person stamped London first instead of Made, and ended up wiht a London Made instead of Made In London.
This is pure speculation on my part, but I have a 1990's Peterson I purchased new that has stamping that would date it in the early 1900s.

"1969/70 – The 'Made in England' stamp was discontinued with the closing down of the London based factory. Although Peterson has always prided itself in being an Irish made pipe, Peterson had also maintained a pipe factory in London since 1899.
English made Peterson pipes actually spanned the period between the pre Republic and Republic eras.
In 1899, Peterson opened the first in a series of several successive shops in London, England, that lasted until the late 1960's/70s.
1899 – 53, New Broad St. E.C.
1910 – 7, Hills Pl., Oxford St. W.
1915 – 21, Mortimer St. W.
Finally moving to 74/77 White Lion Street until 1970.
So the English Era, for a simplified date, will be from 1899 through to around 1970. The stamps Peterson used in London are:

• Made in England block format
• Made in England circle format
• Made in London
• Made in London England
• Simply, London England
• London Made over England block format
• Great Britain"
