I was thinking the same thing. Also the V looks like a chess piece a little. I’ve seen it before, but just can place it! And my memory is more focused on that rustication and color of stem for some reason… I’m hoping someone knows this one, I might have to get a set when OP finds out.

My thought exactly. The "R" looks like a rune which makes me think of our Danish friends.
