I have that Apple in the Unique line. It is very similar to the 33 but larger.

Thanks for the info. That must mean that the Super Grain in question would be a rather small pipe, the Anniversary Pipes being approximately Dunhill Size 4 to 5 according to the President. Maybe the concept of "large" for a pipe has changed over the years?

And yes the value is in the eye of the beholder.

Late 40’s, early 50’s i’d say.

I remember Bill stating that the cloverleaf logo was moved from the top of the stem, to the side in the early 50's.

Thanks for the input everyone! I contacted the President, and he confirmed that it's from the late 40s to the early 50s.
