I dont know what I am currently smoking since I threw away the paper bag it came in. I store it in a plastic bag which I roll tightly and then but it in another sealed plastic bag. I just take some from the bag and smoke it, it seems like it is not too moist nor to dry. I found dunhill 965 in an online store so might try some since it sounds a bit more smokey and stronger than EMP. Also found Key Largo, will see what I go for.

Thanks for all the tips on diffrent pipes, for now I will go with cobs since I've heard they are very forgiving.

SC Piedmont
+several dozen on the advice you've already gotten. I'll just add a couple of words on a couple of my personal faves.
One, check out quality estate pipes at places like smokingpipes.com (my #2 fave for good used pipes at good prices). Look for an inexpensive Savinelli in particular. I've smoked Savs for decades & never had a bad one. Ever. Same for Nordings. SPC is VERY particular about the estate pipes they list, & nothing you get from them will ever have been abused. Couldn't recommend them higher if my life depended on it!
Two, eBay is a good source, BUT you have to know what you're doing. I buy a *lot* of my pipes there, but you really need to be able to work without a net to succeed there. By that I mean having the knowledge of both sellers *&* pipes/deals to trust/avoid.
The good news - there are an absolute TON of good, reliable, & inexpensive pipes to choose from on places like SPC & the other sponsors. As a general rule, if you pick *either* a Savinelli or Nording, you will never be far wrong. Ever. Guaranteed.

Period. :):)
