This used to be one of my most smoked tobaccos, I had several tins stocked, which I sold a few years ago in my 5 year period of very little pipe smoking. I regret selling them, i had got them all across the border without getting hit with duties even. Oh well. Anyway, i was rehydrating some tobaccos that were dried to a crisp in my closet, I found a small jar, opened it up and snuffed; wow. That incredible smoky spiciness! Hit me like a brick wall, why did I sell my tins? Can't wait to rehydrate and smoke a bowl!

Anyone else enjoy this blend?

I've never had a tin of the original, but I recently bought the Sutliff match. I enjoy the nuanced taste, but it takes a bit of drying to make it burn continuously and well, and I don't know how this compares to the original. With a little attention, it is flavorful good stuff.

There is a match for Balkan Sasieni?

Working through a tin from 07. Milder than most of the other Balkans I enjoy, but the depth is fantastic.

Last time I ordered some Balkan Supreme it came dry and that is some nasty stuff bone-dry imo.I should have complained but I choked it down.

Funny timing, I just grabbed a tin on my way out for a five hour drive to the mountains. Opened it in the car to start drying, and resealed for tomorrow's first smoke. It's more than decent!

You are talking about Balkan Sobranie, while the OP is referring to Balkan Sasieni, a different critter entirely.
I smoked a lot of Sasieni at one time, then I discovered White Knight, and have been using that to scratch that particular taste itch. Still have several tins of Sasieni stashed; I am probably going to dig one out soon.
