Welcome aboard from central N.C. Growing up, I vacationed with my family at Lake Geneva in Wisconsin, near Yerkes Observatory, the largest refracting telescope in the world, now a historical site. Lake Geneva had a great waterfront and mail boats that took you on a tour around the lake. The resort had rowboats, sailboats, and a lovely swimming area with pebbles underfoot and an artesian well with ice cold water bubbling up all the time.
