Hello all. I’m Tar Wheel from Winston-Salem NC and I’ve decided to go from full-time lurker to contributing member. I have eagerly devoured all the helpful tips and insights from the contributing members this past year and would just like to say THANK YOU! Without your proper guidance I would still be floundering around in frustration wondering why I just can’t get the hang of this. The wealth of knowledge here is a must study for anyone starting out. I now pack, light and smoke without any problems whatsoever. Who knew there are so many variables that come in to play?!

With that being said, I would also like to point out that this group has contributed to the ever growing deficit in my bank account Lol! TAD is real!!! I have felt like a kid with free reign in the candy store and the waistline keeps growing Lol!

As mentioned earlier, I’ve lurked for some time. I have many “favorite posters” here and feel like I know many of you on a personal level. I’m looking forward to contributing and interacting with you all. I’ll see you around!

In the days of yore, I trained at the Veterans Administration Regional Office in Winston-Salem for an on-campus job that brought me here, though I long since shifted to a writing/editing gig with the National Institutes of Health in Research Triangle Park, where I rounded out forty years about ten years ago.
