I've spent some time in that part of the state, Bryson City, Fontana Dam, Asheville, Boone, Blowing Rock, Cherokee. Nice apple harvest this time of year. Welcome from central N.C.

Welcome, from NE Wisconsin.
I lived a little west of Philly for years, and did a few semesters of college in the Carolinas.
Glad you're here!

Brand new pipe smoker here, fresh out of the box with the sticker still on me!
I hail from Philadelphia but have lived in western North Carolina since 1996.
My family up north says I sound like a hillbilly now and my southern friends say I still sound like a damn yankee yahoo. I say I'm a hybrid of sorts, call me a Philbilly.

I've been enthusiastically smoking pipes for only two months. I can find something I like in everything I've smoked so far. Presbyterian was the first tobacco to make me feel like i was having something as delicious as melted cheese for the first time at 42 years old.

Quiet Nights and Key Largo have got me excited to try more GL Pease blends.
Sir Walter Raleigh aromatic has reminded me it's great to not be a snob.
Escudo, Davidoff Flake Medallions, and Haddo's Delight have picked my interest in Vapers.
MacBaren ODF helped me remember to not smoke on an empty stomach.

Thank you all for your collective wisdom, experience, and quality of your posts.
I look forward to getting to know you nice and slow, like lovers do.
Welcome from New York State of mind. Sounds like you have the ability to produce a laugh, hope you can take a joke for there are many jesters on this forum.

Welcome from the Central Coast of California!

Please put your location in your Profile, as people are forgetful.
Why:
That will save questions in the future as to where you live when you later mention local stores, weather, tobacco prices, availability, regulations, location of photos, wildfires, air quality, etc. In many instances that saves time for those who read your posts. It cuts down on posts or PMs asking where you are.
How:
Under your avatar, (top right, left most of three symbols) you choose "Account Details", which brings up "My Account". "My Location" is halfway down. Whatever you're comfortable with- town, city, county, state. province, etc.
