There is a proud tradition of pipe production.
Many British companies were, in fact, started by French immigrants.
Many of the pipe shapes we think of as quintessential English are French in origin.

I would look at a French maker eg Chacom, Butz Choquin, Genod for your next pipe. Or Bruno Nuttens who is originally from Belgium, but now residing in France

Welcome from Saudi Arabia! I have the fondest memories of Toulouse, but they don't involve pipes... rather a visit to an amazing cheese shop...Chacom pipes are very nice, see if you can find a Pipe of the Year that you like. I am planning to get one myself!

France launched briar as a commercial pipe material and came up with many of the shapes that are thought of as English classics. At any price point, it is hard to beat the quality of French pipes, and their sense of design in traditional shapes is immaculate.

Greetings from New York, and welcome. If my memory is correct, you have what must be the most pleasant smokers "lounge" of any airport in Europe--rather like a Japanese rock garden, and actually out of doors. I cannot begin to say how much I enjoyed my hour there the summer before COVID.

I have only one Butz Choquin which I have had since the mid-1970's.
A straight Bulldog which was the (?) inspiration for my Bulldog "mania"
(I now have well over 40 Bulldogs)

bought my first pipe tobacco by accident 10 years ago (mac baren vanilla cream loose cut) , might as well buy a pipe (no name briar with italy marked) to try back in Malaysia before i move to France, Smoked few times but never develop a habit for it, and it was put in storage until recently

dig out my pipe, bought a MM and started this hobby, currently has tried Amphora full, Peterson Nightcap and Chacom No1

currently looking to get more pipe, Peterson system standard 301, Savinelli Clark's favorite, Eole par Pierre Morel (forme hawkbill) and maybe some Chacom for different blend
