Yes, there are some good tobacconists in Malaga, especially the one where I usually buy from, it's called Estanco Avenida.

I know a girl from Gibraltar who would speak spanish with the strongest accent from Cadiz and then switch to English suddenly for some words, we tend to speak Spanish together however.

I moved here about 15 years ago, so I didn't grow up in the llanito house of being. I know what you mean though, it is a fascinating mixture of languages.
Welcome, I'm originally from peninsular Malaysia, so Gibraltar is quite exotic to me, albeit another part of the world that was pink in our old school atlases.
