Hey yall. Been lurking these forums for a while now and finally decided to participate because I liked it so much. Been smoking a pipe for about a year now, but based on my collection you'd think I've been at it for a decade. I tend to over indulge in my hobbies, but like hifi audio, I really enjoy this one.
I mostly smoke VaPers, straight VA and English/Balkan. As a craftsman, I get sweaty looking at beautiful grains. I've been making and restoring pipes also for abkut 3 months or so, it's a past time I've come to appreciate.
I'm looking forward to getting to know some of yall and participate in this wonderful platform. Cheers
You live in a beautiful area. Welcome.

Welcome from norther Colorado! I just completed my first pipe restoration. I, however, am not a craftsman. I made lots of mistakes, er, I mean, I learned a lot on this first attempt. Fun little project. I will definitely be doing more! I may bug you for advice in the future. Again, welcome!

@Fralphog I'd like to make some clay pipes as I've done some pottery classes before...
After I watched your video yesterday, I found this video that made me want to own one of these pipe molds. Very interesting how they make clay pipes. My son is a very accomplished pottery craftsman and has a kiln. I’m sure getting ahold of a clay pipe, steel mold would be quite an accomplishment these days. Either way the video is amazing!
