You should fit right in. There are several of us that roast coffee, enjoy fine spirits, etc. I was the president of a local homebrew club for several years before The Vid.
Roasting coffee and brewing beer are two things I really want to do once my kids get older and I have more free time. I've tried my hand at coffee roasting, but with my popcorn popper setup I was less than satisfied with the results. Beer brewing is increasingly something I want get into. Anymore I have a very hard time finding some of my favorite styles available commercially. I really like old ales especially, and it seems no one makes them anymore.

Welcome from California 🌞 I'm also south of Louisville and west of Chicago! Lol.

I agree, Windjammer is a fabulous blend. I've not struggled to find blends I like. My struggle has been narrowing it down to just a few open tins/jars at a time. (TAD/PAD is real)

Happy to have you here, friend!
Yeah, I personally think my ideal would be only having a handful of tins open at a time, but right now I am really excited to try lots of stuff and find out exactly what I like and why. I probably have 30+ open blends and I feel kinda silly about that, but at the same time it is kinda necessary to hone in on what I like and to learn about different tobaccos. And that TAD/PAD is, indeed, very real.

Welcome from Oakland, what kind of reading?
I read a number of different types of books. I read a lot of fiction (classics, fantasy, literary), theology (mostly Catholic), art history, history, and whatever else I am interested in at the moment.
