In the grand scheme of things, just along the road.
Funny you say that. Will be heading up with the family in July for 10 days in Durness. Had a glorious time last summer in a cottage in Sangobeg Bay. We had booked for when accommodation started opening, but the campsite was still closed so it was peaceful and quiet. If ye fancy a walk, head up to Cape Wrath by trail or ferry. Bring your pipe to Kearvaig Bothy and be welcome.
I have sampled Bothy Flake before. It was very nice. I also enjoy a pipe and whisky pairing. If I may suggest a pairing: Bothy Flake smokes especially well in it's namesake structure. Bring coal.
FàilteHello everyone. I am based in southern Scotland. I have been smoking a pipe for only a couple of months, but am thoroughly enjoying the journey. I tried cigars around 6 months ago before realising they weren't really for me. I initially thought aromatics would be the way forward for me, but I have been drawn to non aromatics. Enjoyable blends have been Solani White and Black, Robert Lewis Tree Mix, Petersons Early Morning Pipe, and my personal favourite Sam Gawith Skiff Mix. I look forward to discussing the hobby with you all. Thanks for having me here.
