Didn't win, although they had a great team in '93. Team got sold in '95 and moved to Colorado, became the Avalanche. Immediately won a cup ('96), then won another five years later.

Thank you cigrmaster! It's around 12 hours for me to get there by car. I heard they have amazing seafood in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick too!

That's because they had Patrick Roy as a goalie! In 1986, he replaced Steve Penny in January and les Canadiens won the cup. He was 20 years old!
