Greetings all
I smoked pipes from about 2005-14, then fell off it for a number of years. I've recently (March) rediscovered the joy, when I found myself slipping back into the cigs after beginning to work from home during the quarantine.
As a result, I found myself blessed with a modest collection of cellared tins most of which are at least 10 years old, so that's one plus from the hiatus.
I primarily smoke from unfiltered cobs, but have cleaned up and used some of my old favorite briars, to include my beloved Chacom Army 337c (still my 'desert island pipe' --sadly out of production).
I primarily smoke burley based blends as my all-dayers. My every day smokes are Old Joe Krantz, Haunted Bookshop, Reserve du Patron, and Five Brothers. I'm currently working out which occasional VaPer I would like. I'm also fond of strong dark-fired blends, and plugs and ropes, especially Samuel Gawith's Brown #4.
That about covers it! I'm looking forward to perusing these forums.
Have a great day all!
