It's 7:15pm here in Phoenix, so I'll say "Good Evening to All Pipe Enthusiasts."
I started smoking a pipe when I was 18, right about the time they invented dirt. Actually I'm kidding. The good ole USA celebrated her 200th birthday that year. Now you can work out how old I am.
My first tobacco was Captain Black Original, a blend I still like and smoke with nostalgia. Because OTCs are becoming so expensive, my favorites today are the Lane Ltd. 1Q, the Lane Ltd. BCA, and the Peter Stokkebye 201 Vanilla Black Cavendish.
I have a pretty good collection of cobs, and 2 good friends made gifts of a Wiley and my first Peterson. This hobby shows how kind and considerate like minds can be.
When my nearest B&M had a moving sale, I made the mistake of carrying my savings to the sale, and came home with my first Savinelli, Lorenzo, Nording and my second Peterson. I've bought a few more since then including 3 high quality hand made pipes made by some hidden masters.
I'm going to close this before I ramble on boring you to sleep.
David
