Hello everyone, my name is Phil and I live in Northeastern Pa. I have been smoking a pipe since 1981 and started with Captain Black White. I prefer English blends now with an occasional aromatic. I like English and Italian pipes with some corn cobs thrown in for good measure

Hello and welcome from West Virginia. I started in 1980 with a Dr. Grabow Billiard and some Borkum Riff Whiskey (which is the only tobacco have ever thrown away) and was soon replaced by Captain Black Gold. I have since moved on to many other blends. You will enjoy this site. The people are knowledgeable, funny at times, caring at times and over all good people.

Hello!, I tried BR Whiskey a few times mainly because every other smoker was smoking it. I didn't mind it but found the old BR Champaign in the old green color to be better.
