Hey all...I'm totally new to this forum. It seems to be the most active pipe forum online so thought I'd join and discover it more!
I'm a middle-aged husband, father and grandfather. I've been smoking a pipe for over 20 years now (hard for me to believe). I'm basically self-taught, never been around any others that smoke a pipe though my great uncle did when I was a child so I do have some nostalgia from that.
Anyway, to date I've probably amassed somewhere around 100 lbs of tobacco and a few dozen quality pipes including Dunhills, Savinellis, Petersons, a bunch of Custombilts and their spinoffs, Wally Franks, several artisan pipes. I basically keep any pipe from $5 to $1000 if it smokes well and it's gone if it doesn't suit me or smokes like crap.
If anyone is in Oklahoma and we both have time for a smoke, let's plan it! I'd love to personally meet some pipe smokers.
