love nyc what an amazing city. Last time I was there I saw a pigeon poop on junkieGreetings from New York. I was born, raised and live in Queens, New York. I've been smoking pipes on and off since 1996, steady since 2010. I like tobacco in mostly every genre, although aromatics and I don't get along very well. There are exceptions, however. After much experimentation it turns out that I am very much a burley guy. I look forward to contributing to discussions in a (hopefully) meaningful way and interacting with the wonderful members of this forum.

Welcome!
If you’re free, NY Pipe Club will meet on Tuesday the 14th at Soho Cigar Bar. 32 Watts St., in Manhattan. 6 p.m.
the best part was it only woke him up for a half a second. And the angle the guy was sleeping on that bench was incredible. Like no way it could be comfortable to another person.Funny, it’s usually the other way around.
You are lucky. I, however, am saddled with that particular accent. Gives me away immediately wherever I may be.Welcome from Chicago!
I was born in Astoria, 31-32 29th. St., but my parents dragged me off to Chicago in my first year. So, no Queens accent.
Lately, I would be rather surprised if you HADN'T seen such a thing. I'm glad that you were able to take in some of our wildlife, and a pigeon as well.love nyc what an amazing city. Last time I was there I saw a pigeon poop on junkie
Although I am a full time resident I have very fond childhood memories that were exactly as you described. That really brings me back!Greetings from South Florida. My Dad had the tradition of taking us to NY this time of year to see the Rockettes at the Radio City Music Hall. Remember walking down packed streets, the smell of chestnuts and tobacco, the storefront displays, limos and taxis everywhere, visiting FAO Schwartz, and skating in Rockefeller Ctr and admiring the big Christmas tree. Good memories.
